We arrived at Morocco to train with their Navy folks. We were in Morocco for 1 day. We have now left w. Africa and gone through the strog (Straits of Gibraulter) again. We are in the med heading for Naples, Italy. We will be there for a handful of hours only to turn around again and go to Rota where we will be for about a day and then head through the strog again and down to another West African nation for similar training. I was CICWO u/I for more drills this morning. While in Morocca, we did a COMREL (Community Relations) project with the orphanage there and painted and stuff. We all had to work on the ship.. got to go out in town some for about 5 hours. Bought some cool things, took some funny pictures in this gypsy belly dancing outfit with some shop owners... we ate at a nice Moroccan restaurant and I had coucous with pork, beef, lamb, and all these vegetables. It was a good dinner.
