HOME IN VA BCH until Saturday the 6th. The trip was so long it was ridiculous. First, we had to wait in the airport in Bahrain for 19 hrs after a van dropped us off from the ship while they got back underway to the Gulf. We stopped over in Sigonella, Sicily, Rota Spain, and Shannon, Ireland. They didn´t tell us in Bahrain we were stopping in Ireland so that was a nice surprise and I bought some fun Irish things. A 100% wool lamb sweater and a red plaid scarf... some other surprises for people. I honestly feel paralyzed from not moving so long. We sat down a lot since the entire trip was 46 hrs long. Taking a muscle relaxer and heading to bed in preparation for a whirlwind 3 days of last minute packing and road trip prep...
